We are delighted to announce that Country Lifestyle Homes has won a very prestigious award for the second year in a row at the Scottish Home Awards 2009. The winners were announced on 26 June at The Sheraton Hotel in Edinburgh. Over 300 guests from 35 companies celebrated at the annual lunch and awards ceremony, the culmination of a national competition which recognises and rewards excellence in house and home creation in Scotland.
Chair of the judging panel, Margo MacDonald MSP commented: “I am very impressed to see so many firms engage positively with the Scottish Home Awards. Positivity is a powerful thing and it’s very important that you take the time to celebrate your achievements in good years and in bad.”
John Mackay from STV News presented the awards and announced the winner of the House of the Year as follows :- “we turn to a category which always delivers stiff competition both in this programme and in the property market. It’s the House of The Year award and because of the volume of entries in this category we have selected 9 contenders for places in the finals. This award is sponsored by The Scotsman and the winner will be announced by Property Editor and programme judge, Kirsty McLuckie. So to our winner. This entry attracted the attention of the judges thanks to a clearly presented submission which showed a home with character which used high specification materials located in an attractive setting. Country Lifestyle Homes – Green Acres Muirhouse Steading Development - Finalists in the Scottish Home Awards 2009
Following on from our success at the prestigious Scottish Home Awards 2008 we are delighted to announce that we have reached the final of the 2009 awards in no less than three categories for our development at Green Acres Muirhouse Steading Nr Lanark. The overall development is in the final of the Conversion of the Year. The “Clyde” house is in the final of the House of the Year with the “Wallace” house in the final of the Luxury House of the Year.
The Scottish Home Awards is an independent awards programme established to promote excellence within Scotland's house building industry and to profile the best new build properties emerging today. The following judging panel of 11 Property Professionals and MSPs have selected Country Lifestyle Homes Green Acres Muirhouse Steadings Development as a finalist in three categories
